No more wandering

When asked about the After School Program’s role in his life and how it has changed him, thirteen year old Manish Basnet promptly said, “Since I joined 3 years ago, it has helped me keep my act together. I don’t know how to describe its importance in my life. All I can say is, if we ever move away from this settlement, I will ride a bus back here every day so that I can attend the program.”

'Exposure Visit' is counted as one of the main activities of Child's Club that helped the children to improve their physical and mental health. Altogether 57 children attending the ASP program at the INCLUDED community center in Manohara were present guided by the center manager, teachers, and volunteers of Samudayik Sarathi.

Mom’s club made kids punctual in ECD

"What if the Community Center in Manohara will no longer exist?" Strategically, we asked the newest team members first, and ended with our oldest team members who also happen to be the mothers who live in Manohara. The responses were genuine and heartfelt from the participants of the orientation workshop on 23rd January.
